MSME Registration register, classify, and unlock MSME benefits.

MSME registration services in India — Udyam registration under the MSME Development Act, 2006, classification advisory, MSME benefits, subsidy access, and ongoing MSME compliance for micro, small, and medium enterprises.

MSME registration is the formal recognition granted to a Micro, Small, or Medium Enterprise under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006. The current MSME registration is the Udyam Registration, a paperless, online registration introduced in July 2020 to replace the older Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum. Udyam classifies an enterprise as Micro, Small, or Medium based on a combined criteria of investment in plant and machinery or equipment, and annual turnover.

Under the current thresholds, a Micro enterprise is one with investment up to Rs 1 crore and turnover up to Rs 5 crore; a Small enterprise has investment up to Rs 10 crore and turnover up to Rs 50 crore; and a Medium enterprise has investment up to Rs 50 crore and turnover up to Rs 250 crore. MSME registration is voluntary, but it is the gateway to a wide range of central and state benefits — priority sector lending, lower interest rates, collateral-free credit, GST refund acceleration, public procurement preference, electricity tariff concessions, subsidy on ISO certification, and protection against delayed payments under the MSME Samadhaan provisions.

Our MSME registration practice handles end-to-end Udyam registration for proprietorships, partnerships, LLPs, and companies. We assess the enterprise against the investment and turnover thresholds, advise on the correct classification, file the Udyam application with PAN and Aadhaar authentication, integrate with GST and ITR data, and obtain the digital Udyam certificate. We also support amendment of existing registrations on growth or change in classification.
