INC-22 — Notice of Registered Office register your office address, filed correctly.

Every company must have a registered office — the official address where statutory notices are served and where its registers are kept — and the Registrar of Companies must always have the correct address on record. Form INC-22 is the form through which a company gives the Registrar notice of that registered office address.

INC-22 is filed in two situations. The first is shortly after incorporation, where a company that did not finalise its registered office in the SPICe+ form must file INC-22 to verify the address. The second is whenever the registered office changes — a change within the same city, for example, is completed by a board resolution and an INC-22 filing, while larger shifts also require additional approvals alongside INC-22.
