The role.
Expect a structured, rotation-based articleship across the firm's practice areas. You'll start with supervised audit, tax and accounting work and take on more responsibility as your skills grow, guided throughout by qualified CAs.
Key responsibilities.
- Audit support — assist in statutory, tax and internal audits — vouching, verification and preparing work-papers under supervision.
- Direct tax — support income-tax computations, ITR preparation and TDS workings.
- GST — help with GST returns, reconciliations (2A / 2B) and data compilation.
- ROC basics — assist in ROC filings and routine company-law documentation.
- File management — maintain audit files, schedules and client data in an organised manner.
- Accounting — learn finalisation basics in Tally Prime / Zoho Books / QuickBooks.
- Research — research tax and accounting provisions under guidance.
What you'll bring.
Essential
- Cleared CA Intermediate (one or both groups) and eligible to register for articleship with the ICAI.
- Sound conceptual grounding in accounting, taxation and audit basics.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (or willingness to learn).
- Strong attention to detail, discipline and a genuine desire to learn.
- Good communication and a professional attitude.
Preferred
- Prior internship or accounting exposure.
- Familiarity with Tally, the GST portal or income-tax utilities.
- Both groups of CA Intermediate cleared.
