Accurate books are the foundation of everything we advise. We're looking for a dependable Accountant who takes ownership of the numbers and helps clients stay clean, current and compliant month after month.
The role.
You'll handle day-to-day bookkeeping and compliance for a portfolio of clients with real-time, accurate reporting — acting as an extension of their finance function and coordinating closely with our review team.
Key responsibilities.
- Bookkeeping — maintain books — sales, purchases, expenses, journals and bank reconciliations in Tally Prime / Zoho Books / QuickBooks.
- GST returns — prepare and file GSTR-1 and 3B and complete 2A / 2B reconciliations.
- TDS — handle TDS computations, payments and quarterly returns.
- Payroll — process payroll and related statutory compliances (PF / ESIC / PT) as applicable.
- MIS & reports — prepare periodic MIS, ledgers and debtor / creditor statements for management.
- Finalisation — assist in finalisation of accounts and preparation of audit data.
- Operations — manage invoicing, vendor payments and compliance trackers.
- Client coordination — coordinate with clients for data, documents and clarifications.
What you'll bring.
Essential
- B.Com / M.Com (or CA-Inter / CMA-Inter) with sound accounting fundamentals.
- 1–4 years of hands-on accounting experience; strong freshers may apply.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel; Zoho Books / QuickBooks a plus.
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
- Accuracy, organisation and the discipline to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and reliability.
Preferred
- Experience in a CA firm or outsourced-accounting setup.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and MIS reporting.
- Exposure to e-commerce or multi-client accounting.
